He encouraged members of staff to ensure that they explore their internal redress mechanisms before making a complaint to the office of the Ombudsman.

Thanking the Ombudsman and Team, the Chairman, Sierra Leone Health Service Commission Dr. Anthony Sandi, stated that the information shared by the Ombudsman is essential and that his Institution will abide by same but stressed that the Ombudsman's Office needs to do more in sensitizing the populace about its mandate and functions.
